Hey guys,
Got a question on pedal slop on a less than year old 1023e for a friend. The forward pedal, that is ABS plastic, got broken when a stick some how got stuck in between the pedals when pushing a brush pile back.
He went to the local JD and got the new pedal no problem and replaced it. I jumped on his machine the other day and noticed the pedal was sloppy. Like sloppy enough that you can rotate it CCW and CW a good 1/4 inch.
I took a look at it and I'm guessing when he broke it off he lost the part LVU19271. It's listed as a bushing/bearing. Checked out the JDparts.com site for local dealers and nobody has one in stock. Before he orders one can someone tell me if that much play is normal? I'm guessing no cause the other pedal is nice and snug.
