I'm not familiar at all with the brand, Craftsman, MTD you know the usual I'm OK on. Sticker on the front left side had Package #1693348, the engine is Kohler spec #PS-14107. Can one of you figure out what year for sure it is with the numbers I noted?

It's not in new condition the seat needs to be replaced and it has the usual hanger rash. It engine could stand a good cleaning, tune-up, valve and carb adjustment. From what I saw and heard not too bad. The cut was even and the grass catcher was in good shape.

So... I'm thinking about buying it.
What price range should it go for?
What other machine would this be comparable to?

What are the good, the bad and the ugly about the rider?

OK thanks for the info. The seller is asking 600 for it but being there isnt a cloclk on it, I'm thinking 600 is more than I want to pay.

Anybody got an idea what would be a good offer?

Yea I hear ya on no more that 300, that's what I had in mind too.
