Back for 1978 the hydrodrive returns! With the 1977 16/6 Hydro being an unpopular sell the previous year, The all new GT/18 Hydro would return for an additional year, But not without some changes first. This tractor got the 18hp treatment with Onans stout B48M 48 cubic inch twin. To harness the new mill's power the tractor got a heavy duty automotive style ring and pinion Sundstrand Hydro transmission. The old yellow and white paint wouldn't return, Instead the machine was bathed in a silver and black scheme with an array of new decals to spice things up. It was certainly one of the sharpest tractors in the competiton with its trademark round fenders. Unfortunately this would be the first and final year this tractor would be built.
