350 H.O. 4 speed muncie close ratio 320 hp posi 3.36
Bought it on Ebay in 2008 previous owner did not know what he had sold it for a plain jane 350 Firebird. He owned a classic restoration shop and it sat in his shop for 8yrs. Someone had taken the heads off it had no interior just two seats. Took me 3 yrs to find the matching heads for it but I finally got 'em so now the build can begin.
1968 Pontiac Firebird (Red)
Pix from Ebay ad were I bought it. Other pix of me loading it for the trip to home sweet home. People strip these car down not knowing how to fix them and then end up selling them. These guy had a shop and still didn't know what he had, amazing what God can do.
The impossible heads to find. Finally after 3 plus yrs of searching. I had found a set in Seatle Washington but they wanted $ 2,800.00 You think these heads are rare or what? They were only made one year and they only went on the 350 H.O. motor, which only 3,784 were made. Not only are they rare but I needed to find ones that were within 3mos of the date my motor was made for them to be authentically correct for collectors. Done !!!
