Three Point hitch added early on to handle several attachments.
History
The GT18 was purchased on Feb 10th. of 1989 to replace an old (Gold) David Bradley[DB] tractor that Dad rebuilt which we used to tow a rotary mower behind to mow 3 acres of ground. We added a Three Point Hitch[TPH] to it and bought several attachments for it. Dad passed away Jan 9th, 1989, and I knew I was going to need a more suitable tractor with a belly mower deck to be able to handle the mowing on my own.
At this time the Briggs & Stratton engine has 1,005.8 Hours on it. Just a bit more now.

When I got the GT18 it was only setup to use sleeve hitch attachments or those that coupled to the draw bar. It didn't have any provision for a three point hitch and I had several old attachments that could be used if I could adapt the three point hitch from the Old DB Tractor. I had studied the 3PtH and talked with a machinist neighbor and told him what I thought could be done with his welding knowledge and he said it looked like it would work so he helped me to do just that. So I have one of the few GT18's with a functioning three point hitch, both raising the implements with the lift lever as well as adjusting the side-to-side angle adjustment. It sure comes in handy to be able to vary the blade angle.

>Original additions & Old DB implements:
Hobbs Hour meter, first thing installed in the dash when I set the GT up;
I added a reduded pipe elbo to fit in the differential for easy oil adding;
Plow with three different trenching blades;
Rear drag blade that also can be angled about 45* R&L plus tilted R&L;
Disc Harrow;

>New GT18 additions & implements:
Shift lever boot to cut down on dust coming up through console in mowing;
Pull rod & cord through lower dash console to raise discharge mower chute;
14 cubic foot dump cart;
Sears Aerator with 15 long pointed Star Wheels plus lift wheels to move it;
Tank sprayer & electric pump on cart, dash control switch rear connection;
Home made Spike Drag to scratch ground, hooks to draw bar, Dad made it;
Two new High Back Seats from Northern Tool & Equipment
Light weight Railroad rail drag;
12 volt electrical conection made from plastic 35mm film can;

>Improvements & implements considered:
Steering wheel wrap to give it a thicker and softer grip, considering using tool box waffle liner to wrap around steering wheel;
Bull dozer blade;
Wind Rowing attachment for moving large amounts of field grass?;
? ?;

>Old implements found on property:
Old multi bladed cultivator, too much drag for tractor I believe;
Old Spike Tooth drag harrow about 4' x 3';
