  3. Mentone Swap Meet?

    Toro/Wheelhorse Forum
I remember that picture!! Very nice. Is that a shredder only? I don't see the hopper on the side for a chipper.. That should sell pretty easy for you. I've been looking for one that has a chipper on it as well. -BK
  4. wheel Horse 314-8

    Toro/Wheelhorse Forum
Tom- I have the Brinley 42" back-blade that I use on my 314-8. It works really nice. Never used a mid-mount blade so I couldn't tell you how they compare. The sleeve hitch is the way to go so you can control the height of the blade easily. You should be able to find a sleeve hitch relatively...

  8. What can you tell me about his mower

    Toro/Wheelhorse Forum
I keep looking at the C.L. you linked into, and to me it looks like it has a different mower deck than the factory 60" Wheel Horse deck. Factory W.H. 60" deck pics: (courtesy of Redsquare) Scroll down to post #3 in this link http://www.wheelhorseforum.com/topic/16115-1996-520-h/?p=202870...

  11. Part numbers??

    Toro/Wheelhorse Forum
Sounds like you got a good deal on the package. Yep, the tillers are a blast to run, but you'll found out soon enough that it's only the beginning. Soon you'll be looking for a mowing deck, ag tires, moldboard plow, perhaps a snowblower to go with that dozer blade, etc. ... It won't end...
  12. Part numbers??

    Toro/Wheelhorse Forum
Are you looking for a part number for a part in the plow attachment, or the model number for the plow? The model number thats your year tractor would be #79350 for the 48" dozer blade. -BK
  13. 48 inch deck blade question..

    Toro/Wheelhorse Forum
Have you checked to see if the deck is adjusted correctly? It should be that the front of the deck is slightly lower than the rear. My manual for my 48" shows that the height above the ground for the middle blade tip while pointed straight forward should be 1/8" to 1/4" lower than either one...
  14. Re-configuring the Hood?

    Toro/Wheelhorse Forum
Take this idea another step further. Could you make a battery tray and attach it to your tractor frame in a way that it sits elevated, slightly higher than it does now so that it won't come in contact with your hood when it opens forward? That way you won't need to monkey around with breaking...
  15. Finally enough snow to test out the 416-H blower.

    Toro/Wheelhorse Forum
At least it didn't run out gas in the middle of the road :fing32: (yes, I've done that with the S.S. blower on it. Not very light to push into the driveway either...:banghead3) -BK

  18. Clevis Hitch 85515 Compatibility

    Toro/Wheelhorse Forum
From what I see on the W.H. compatibility document, the 8-5515 (1980-1989)should fit directly to your 312-8. The current replacement model # is 85518. And yes, it appears the only difference is how the lift chain attaches onto the rockshaft. Good luck. -BK
  19. Wheelhorse Dozer Blade identification

    Toro/Wheelhorse Forum
Looks like it's a 1980 42" dozer blade for the "C" series tractors. -BK
  20. Need Advice Fast 315-8?

    Toro/Wheelhorse Forum
Thats too bad no one got back to you in time. You missed out on a really nice machine for a decent price, provided that was in good shape. According to an online reference document, the 315-8 was made in 2002 thru 2007 thus ending of the classic W.H. tractor chassis design since 1973 including...
