  2. Dumb Question on home made snow plow...

    Lawn and Garden Tractor Accessories
Used several different types of wooden plows growing up. When we lived in the city, my dad made a v plow. That worked great. Width of sidewalk allowed you to do one pass. Had it set up that we could use additional board higher to move the snow further back. Advantage of v plow was on initial...

Chippers, Trimmers, Leaf Blowers and Vacuums
I received a John Deere E35 edger. I had one of these years ago and always regretted selling it. On this one, the engine is seized and has multiple visible cracks in the cylinder block. Has anyone ever repowered one of these edgers? If so, what engine do you recommend? Thanks. Sent from...

  9. What size roller?

    CUT Implements and Accessories
My apologies in advance if my lack of search expertise did not find an answer. I want to get a roller for my yard. I need to smooth out several spots...moles, heaving, etc. Is there an advantage to 60" over 48"? Or vice versa? Ability to pull the weight is not an issue. Maneuverability is...

It would s not a generic filter, if it is for the pump. Those filters usually have the backflow preventer removed (or is that vice versa?). Figure out who makes the pump and you will determine what filter is needed. Fluid is usually 20w50.
  11. 3 pt. vs. towable dethatcher?

    Lawn and Garden Tractor Accessories
Disagree on once a year. I use mine several times a year. It helps tremendously. I started with a pull behind box store one. Broke that. Reengineered that. And love final product. If I had it to do over, I would get a pine needle rake from somewhere like everything attachments. A friend has...

Re: Show me your aerators: Anybody have the John Deere 40" 48" plug aerator? Ehammond, I am interested to hear more about yours. Width? Number of spoons? Are spoons replaceable? How many gallons does the drum hold? It looks like you may have built some of this yourself. Looks great...
