  3. 1974 Cub Cadet 149 Throttle/Governor Issue

    Cub Cadet Forum
This may or may not help...but, I kinda had the same issues and what I found was all linkage points for the springs (flat plates with all the holes) the throttle shaft in carb (brass bushing badly wore) caused the engine to serge and fall on its face when ever I throttled up. Generally, all...

  8. Husqvarna R322T Snow Blower Single vs 2 Stage...

    Husqvarna/Dixon
May not help your decision...but I came across this on a Husqvarna Snow Blower Direct website--"The Husqvarna (42-Inch) 2-Stage Snow Blower For Articulating Riding Mower 966 41 60-01 has been discontinued. Check out Expert's recommended" . Does this mean Husqvarna is going to stop making these...

  11. New purchase

    Simplicity/Allis Chalmers Forum
I'd say you did good on that deal. If you added up the cab and blade and cart, you would be over the price of which you paid for this..so I'd say the tractor was free..if that helps ...lol. Good score.
  12. Front Wheel Flange Bearing Problem

    Husqvarna/Dixon
Need to check your original post. You have multiple replies over there. My suggestion was to check your spindle (axle shaft) to see if it is worn down causing the inside bearing race to get beat up while you are driving it. If axle shaft is loose inside the bearing it will cause inside race to...
  13. Wheel Flange Bearing Problems

    Craftsman/Sears Forum
Can you post us a pick of the wheel and axle and spindle. Sounds to me like the spindle is worn down causing the wheel bearing to get hammered out. I could be wrong though!.
  14. Clean air filter every 25 hrs, is it really necessary?

    Husqvarna/Dixon
Because my yard is mostly sandy soil, moisture doesn't stay around long and I find myself cleaning my filter after every use. Maybe a bit overkill, but I get quite a bit of dust out of mine and the pre filter has a bit of debris in it as well. It only takes a few seconds to knock the filter...
  15. Hurst shifter knob resurrected

    Simplicity/Allis Chalmers Forum
Haha...right on. I saved my HURST Handle as well. Was planning on putting on my Bradford (Blue & white tractor with blower). The forward speed lever has thread on plastic ball. Just haven't got around to it yet. "I approve this Mod"...lol.
  16. Agco Allis 1316H

    Simplicity/Allis Chalmers Forum
So what kind of workout could one expect out of one these? Would 1 to 1.5 acres a week with a couple of small, long slope hills, be to much for one of these?
