  1. WTB JD 300 series 50" deck GA

For Sale & Wanted to Buy (Your Location)
Found a good deal on a 50" power flow, but have a 46" deck. So would like to find a 50" in decent shape. Can be a shell or complete. Thanks.
  2. GT Grapple for Quick Hitch

    Lawn and Garden Attachment Reviews
That is pretty stout compared to the quick hitch itself. Looks like its got to be atleast 3/8 thick metal.
  3. First use report: Grapple from Innovative Tractor Attachments

    John Deere Forum
I've read through all of them and have the BM18121 hitch. Looks like this one So the anti angle hole is on the right side. Also it seems that the older hitch may be longer as well. As there looks to be more distance from the up/down cylinder to the pivot than the ones in the directions.
  4. First use report: Grapple from Innovative Tractor Attachments

    John Deere Forum
Has anyone put one on a 318 or similar? My ram mounting holes for the angle cylinder are different. Especially when looking at the mounting instructions.

Cool. I'd love to see some pictures of it. I guess that plate prevents the pivot from moving side to side as well. How hard is it to remove the cylinder?

Very cool. How does the angle cylinder get purposed to operate the jaw? Unless I'm just not reading it right. I've always wondered what other uses could be had for the front quick hitch.
  7. John Deere front weight bracket

    John Deere Forum
Yeap thanks. I'm getting some 3" plate to make up a rear hitch so was going to order some extra to make some weight dividers for the front. That rear plate looks like its 3/8 thick, seem right?
  8. Suitcase weight position on a Cat 0 Heavy Hitch bracket

    John Deere Forum
So I'm researching making a weight hitch and came across this thread. I'm looking to do something similar and using a 3" plate. Instead of welding the weight bar in the middle I'm looking to move it to the rear by maybe .75-1". That would still give some room for welding and help improve the...
  9. John Deere front weight bracket

    John Deere Forum
Yea, Mule drive has its own brackets set a little further back than the quicktach brackets. Mine will mainly be a bumper, thats why I requested non painted so I can add some stuff to it :) Grill guard possible and some weight dividers. Since I do make one pass on a rather steep grade while...

  13. John Deere front weight bracket

    John Deere Forum
I could be interested in one. Would there be an option/cost reduction for no paint? I might want to add a thing or two. Was going to build one but your brackets will look a lot better than my assisted hand cut plasma ones would look .
  14. 430 Buying advice needed

    John Deere Forum
So I wanted to do a current market check for a 430. No deck. Needs muffler, hood, so so, Front grill, i've seen worse. No rear PTO. Says it starts fine and no noticeable blow by. He says its around the 3k hr mark. What would one expect this to bring?

    John Deere Forum
Thanks! Yea, I need to lay off the classifieds. Yea it will. I hope I can find a good one. It might go to my brother in law if he gets a bigger yard next spring. Haha. It might be tomorrow actually. Nice. The deck on this is pretty good. So if its going in a reasonable amount of...
  16. The heard as grown.

    John Deere Forum
The heard has grown. Had a 110 follow me home yesterday. Didn't take long as I got my first 332 2 months ago. 69 Model. Had a tube in the rear blow out a tire so getting in the bed was interesting. Hoods a bit rough, but other than that seems in decent shape. Been in my buddies parents...
  17. 332 with unusually low hours.

    John Deere Forum
Thanks for the offer. Turns out I have the 46" deck. However a 50 would be fine. Where are they located though? I'm in GA.
  18. 332 with unusually low hours.

    John Deere Forum
Yea. These have been there for 27 years I'm sure. If the bearings come of with the shaft then you either didn't have a snap ring, or blew out the casting. I don't doubt that the spindle and inner race should be a slip fit, but there's no way to get in there to facilitate them separating if...
  19. 332 with unusually low hours.

    John Deere Forum
What is the best way to change the bearings then? After the 2nd one broke, I decided to just press the shaft back in with the bad bearings. Hence it sounding awful. I just returned the new bearings since the new hub came with them installed. A deck that quiet would be awesome. The Yanmar is...
  20. 332 with unusually low hours.

    John Deere Forum
Well, she cuts. (pay no attention to all the CAT gear :)) Does make one god awful racket though. I had to grind the nuts of the bolts for the hubs. Then trying to get the bearings out broke the casting for the snap ring. The 2nd one (only messed with the outers since the bolts were loose)...
