...ok, let's say i want to run the blower on the 816T,,, the PTO out of the transmission is, (and also into the the front shaft) are 13 splines, but the driveshaft from the 812, and the blower has 15...

Thanks for all the input, I did knock the bearings out, i found a pipe with a good diameter to use as a punch. I like the socket idea better Rick, (and parts numbers) thanks.

The tractor is an 816T. I thought she was a '74 by the serial number, but later learned that the 816/818"T"'s were only built for a few years around '78. So I'm not sure of the year, or if perhaps...

I'll try a gravely dealer later,,, and Richard's too. Parts tree wanted $46 for the spring, and $20 for the washer. I'm not a mechanic, part swapper at best. The spring I tried...

That is a pretty blower. When you sell it make sure you include(in the ad that you have the drive shaft and all hook ups. Ask $500. OBO. I wouldn't take less than $400.

IMHO, I think the $1350 is a bit high. But, If all is well, it starts and mows grass as it should, hydraulic lift works... and you need a grass cutting, and snow removal machine, ...it's tough to top...
