Re: JD 210 Q'S Opinions

Re: Lawn tractor fo 3+ acres

I gotta agree with this. A 54 inch deck just ain't enough for 3+ acres.... Unless you want to get a LOT of seat time.... A zero turn would cut your time to about a third....

Re: JD 210 Q'S Opinions

Re: John Deere 455

Wonder if being a diesel has anything to do with it..... :)

I would spend 500 bucks on it, get it running.

Re: gravely 8122 belt

I hear ya on that one..... My deck weighs north of 500 pounds..... Good quality belts are the best answer. The generic fellers won't necessarily have the right profile, and that makes 'em wear...

Re: 318 hydro to power steering line

Yep, replace o-rings as well. If you get a new JD line, it should come with 'em, if you get one made, they should have the o-rings for you as well. I tighten them down fairly tight, check for leaks,...

Re: Tire Sealers - Thoughts?

I took mine to discount tire, and they charged me for the tube, no labor. I think it was like 12 bucks. MORE than worth it to me, (including the 15 mile drive, round trip) for me NOT to have to fight...
