Re: John Deere 260 20 amp fuse Issue

After replacing the coil, I have mowed my yard once and rolled it once with no issues. Fingers crossed.

Re: John Deere 260 20 amp fuse Issue

It only does it after extended use. It will blow fuses for an hour after a few hours use. Then after that I can put a new fuse in and it works fine. Almost like something is overheating. Does this...

Re: John Deere 260 20 amp fuse Issue

OK, it did it again today and before it cooled down I pulled all wiring connections and reconnected them until the new fuse popped. I now know its associated to one of the red wires that come off...

Re: John Deere 260 20 amp fuse Issue

Thanks everyone. I now have a place to start when it does it again. I know it has something to do with heat because if I let it sit, it fixes itself so I will need to catch the problem when it...

Re: John Deere 260 20 amp fuse Issue

I would like to find out what's on that 20 amp circuit. Is there any John Deere schematics out there for an old tractor like this?
