Phil,
I saw that you painted a L8 jug and head with Rustoleum. How did the paint hold up with the engine heat - OK, discolor, blister, peel? How did you prep the jug and head prior to the top coat of orange? I have a thread running on the Gravely forum on painting engines.

Got your package,
the part and knobs really help . . . can match the Red perfectly.
The large rubber grip core is 1", and the small rubber grip core is 3/8",
making those this weekend and they will be exact fits.
You will have samples to test out for fit by next weekend.

Just ordered the knobs from GT, so my Red & Black ones will be exact reproductions.
I'll send you the first pair to evaluate before 'production starts'; (These are cast one-at-a-time and they need a 2 hour+ in-mold cure, plus the post-cure, so the process is very slow). Probably be about 3-weeks to get the first pair out.
