Hi again; Dick from MTF, if I may I would like to pick your brain or other words get some good information from you, It was suggested to contact you, if you don't mind for you have gone thru this before on a GT275. I have a GT275 and am attempting to change out my drive belt. I have the old one off along with two pulleys that I am replacing. My problem is getting the new belt on the front (PTO) pulley and the rear one. I have tried the rear pulley first and can't get the belt on the PTO, but I haven't tried the front one first as yet. Several said I DO NOT need to remove the PTO, by the way the seat and deck have all been removed. It looks like if the fan on top of the transaxle was remove it would help a lot but is it necessary to remove it. I am open to any suggestion on how to get the new belt on with the least amount of work or problems. If the fan does or can come off how does one break the nut holding it on come off, and by chance is it reverse threads.

Hey, I'm the guy who bought the GT275 the other day. I posted a follow-up but nobody answered. Do you know what older Garden tractor this model replaced? And what would be equivalent today in the deere lineup? Not much info about these GT series. Thanks if any further info. Dan
