A video to the flyball spacer repair should be coming some time in the next month or two. I have acquired all the parts and now I just need to find the time to do it (maybe this weekend or maybe at the end of July).

I would recommend against your own gasket. While not an exact science the governor shaft is located in the timing cover. The forks on the governor shaft press up against the flyball cup on the engine. The clearance between the cup and the governor shaft is not crucial but it could lead to some issues putting it back together.

    Hope that helps some.
