I had to post 2 because of the damd character count.
Anyhow we spent $1,000 on our cat last week and she still aint quite right, but our lot my parents bought beside their house is totally enclosed in the 6' wood privacy fence. It cost now a days $30 per 6' x 10" long section + a 4" x4" post per section.
Well worth the money even if you have to borrow it if you ask me and you are able to do so because one encounter w/that scum bag next to you can be worth it all. And plus his ilk will be around as well.
Might get lucky and the SOB will just OD or something.
    Take care all of you.

Great man! I was only trying to get you away from automatics i.e. 'auto-loaders' simply because some females have a hard time with them if time ever comes to having to use one and panic when they limp-wrist them and then they fail to eject the gun can be useless in the untrained hand.
Just make sure you as well as her know that when firing a auto-loader & auto eject you must have a firm almost forward pushing grip on the gun for it to function correctly.
But aint nothing wrong w/9 mm's as most of my handguns are just that.
Guess what else happens to measure 9mm in diameter, a .38, .38 special and the .357 mag. and of course the good ol'e 9x19 AKA 9MM Luger or 'parabellum'' It is a great handgun cartridge.
And now Im gonna worry about young Gravlee in your yard but Im sure you wont leave her unattended and may have to get one of those nice 6' tall chain-link pens that can be had at farm type stores.

Dammit they got me on character count.
Anyhow about the LI I just cant have another one strung out all over the place right now like my L still is. See this is the 3rd. spring my son dont have a mower because it has taken this long so Im gonna buy a nice running one and let him use it and when my L is finished he can pick wich one he wants.
But fear not because I have adopted this Gravely thing as my new hobby and when I take something on I immerse myself in it good wich is why I dont even know how many guns I have. Before we depleted some stock we had 140+ of them in 28 diff calibers.
    Keep in touch anytime, Mark

Yea I must admitt on the gun forum I do enjoy leading them in and ambushing them ( figuratively speaking lol) because a lot of them are Mall Ninja's that think they can inpress with buying the newest fanciest hand guns out there and I and my son who is in the Special Forces have a gun or two that cost $200 made in the 70's that is better than anything they can come up with.
But when we spoke about this thing I kept in mind it was a 'one gun' thing and pllus there was a Gal involved to but if it would be a 2 gun thing I would get what we discussed or whatever you both are comfortable with ( I had a Ruger LCR Light Carry Revolver in .357 and loved it,its light and has a poly frame but w/the .357 load its a punnisher lol) but anyhow if its a 2 gun thing for home defense and carrying out w/the dog in the woods exploring Taurus makes a famous gun called the " Judge" and it fires both .410 shot gun and .45 long Colt , very versitile

I got Gravely C8 running. Had to put new condenser in Magneto, Some time it fired some time it did not. It just wanted to test my staying ability.
OH! Had to reset the float level inside carb.
Went to Stonevile NC, 50 miles one way, bought another Shift-o-matic with the K-131 T engine.

    Hello Daryl,

    It's Steve here from Auburn.
I finally got my parts from the guy in Massachusetts. All very high quality stuff,...no junk.
I'll send a picture or two if I can. Do you know how to send pictures with this PM format? If not, send me your email and I'll use that.
All told, it was $489 including shipping. The shipping was substantial,...over $200 so that was the real cost in a way.
I now have everything I need to get all four machines up and running in the way I want them.
I'm probably going to post a few pix on the site but wanted to let you know about my parts connection first.
He says he likes to keep around 20 machines at all times to dismantle. I think he just cruises the local junk yards and also all the area people know him as the Graveley guy.

If you want his contact info I can give it to you.

Hope all is well out your way and you're not getting hammered too hard with this weather we're having today.

    Take care,

    Steve
