thats the mower I grew up using and abusing. I beat one of those to death over 25 years. Dad would have me mow down 2 foot tall grass with a mower just like that. The recoil broke so we riged up a drill with a driver and used the very top nut on the engine to "electric start the old boy" we did that for 10 years. great mower

Its just like me, i have a 5126, similar to that one I CHOOSE to find deep grass just to have fun with it. I mowed half an acre with it, just for fun. good excersise also. I passed my dad while he was doing a oil change on a ariens, just a little mixing oil and you good to go. I love all 3 of my lawnboys...
