Exmark Lazer Z

I know nothing about these machines. I would prefer a Gravely since thats what I use at work, but due to budget and availability, looking at other brands for myself.

I found a Exmark Lazer Z with a bagging system (Ultravac) on it for $2500. I do not know what size engine or how many hours are on it (waiting for response) But was wondering if its a decent price? Guy says he is original owner and has maintained it well.

Re: Exmark Lazer Z

Thatís a pretty good price unless there is commercial use amount of hours on it.

Dont know yet, have not gotten a response yet to my original questions. I noticed the bracket as well, thought maybe lights, that bracket doesnt look heavy enough for a plow.

Its an air cooled engine.

Given that it's a 60 inch deck it's probably got the big Kohler on it. My neighbor had one just like it had a great big Kohler on it I mowed with it once. It was very smooth and not very loud compared to my Kawasaki. You can feel the build quality when you mow with it.

He literally used it almost like a bush hog and it held up to his abuse. he would mow saplings and tree limbs that fell. Tree limbs up to 1.5 inch in diameter. I mean he abused it.

I'm sure you know already that that's a true commercial quality mower; probably 9 - 10 Grand new.

and if that mower motor was cared for it's got a useful life of anywhere from 1500 to 2,000 hours on the high-end.

So I'll say if it less than 1,100 hours and you can get any sense from talking to the OP that it was cared for it's a good deal.

Re: Exmark Lazer Z

The bracket would be for a dethatcher.

Considering the background of the pic, I would guess it was a commercially used machine.
