If you're really feeling the pressure about it, you could always take that cute little thing out to his place. That'd be a nice gesture, and I'm sure once you've got a new front tire for it you could fill the back of it with enough sandwiches and thermos' of coffee to make the trip. I'll hire a camera crew, we'll make a documentary!

What's it got under the hood, anyway?

It is titled and I do have a temp registration for it...

No under the hood... but under the back panel its got a little two cylinder Cushman gas engine... I have spark, I have air, but I have fuel problems. Maybe after I cross a few things off my to do list today I can venture out to the shop and play with it a little more.

Wow, that was definitely a spur of the moment type procurement! Find a sports team with Blue and White colors, paint something cool on the side with the logo and resell for 5 times the price!

That's pretty cool, Kyle! Had you not mentioned the brand, I'd of guessed it was a Taylor Dunn or Cushman, similar to the ones you see at airports. I could see it used as a mobile service vehicle to haul tools to service your tractors when they're out in the fields.

I think they all fall under the Jacobsen or Textron umbrella's so there are very similar machines out there with different badge numbers.

The plan is to do just what you are thinking. Turn it into a garden machine. Not sure if the back will stay on or not. Its got air, its got spark, I provided fuel and still no runny... that means I'm going to have to dig deeper than normal on this one. Time to fully inspect the carb.

Despite what Cat385B suggests, I cannot see MrsBeef driving that bad boy out into "the fields" to rescue you there, boyo, with either tools OR a case of beer! That machine does not, in my mind, fit her "motif"! And there's no round fenders!

Re: I buy the oddest things

I've seen the utility golf carts with these sorts of rear boxes. My thought was a mini camper for use at the gun range for spending the night for 2 day matches.

Whether or not she likes it remains to be seen..... she did however ask if it fit in her "she shed"... thats a good sign. If she ends up not liking it I am sure there is some nut like me out there that will buy it.... or I can just park it out back next to all the other junk.

Nope, just a plain metal box.

Got it in the work bay.... Tomorrow afternoon I'll pull the fuel system apart and see what might be the problem. Most parts seem to be off the shelf type... Or so they seem.

From what I have been able to find so far they are 11 hp... But information is a bit sparse.
