Re: Some summer photos.....

It was a beautiful morning, we all had the day off off and jumped in the truck to take the pup for a walk at one of the local cranberry bog. First thing that I see is this nice scene on one of the irrigation ponds.

All the retired MBTA locomotives are still parked on a spur behind some industrial buildings. There must be a couple dozen of them, plus some commuter passenger cars.

Down here where I'm @ right now Atlantic Beach/Emerald Isle, N.C.
-(called Southern OBX)-there is a boat on every corner/ every other drive way...and marina;s and repair shops all over. (My son has bought both his BIG boats down here--just so much to choose from.)

Red face Re: Some summer photos.....

THANKS for the rest of the pictures-Mike....America is such a big country and so diverese--it is just amazing...Thankee---

We have been chatting w/ folks down here all this week--pretty amazing how many "Northeners" are transplanted here now--especially NY and Penn.have transitioned down here....one girl had been here two years--aand forgot or didn't do it--but got stopped still with original license plates from home on her car. Huh? Said she forgot...duh..

But anyway--partly or most of it is just the weather--but that also increases the outside enjoyment time......I'd have to get a bike with the fat tires, first thing. So many outdoor concerts and the likes. Cost of everythng seems to be lower in this area/especially real estate, unless it is water front--then that is just crazy.

My thoughts as I get another cup of Jo~.....
