The large Bear made a early visit to neighbors!

Guess it came to neighbors porch and they followed it as it went past my house on hill. I got out as it tried to lay down out of sight by tree. This is the largest one of the group of 5 that use our neighborhood as highway!

Time to get the firecrackers out before they get too comfortable in your neighborhood. Start your 4th of July early.

Yep don't need them comfortable around your property, you won't be able to set garbage in cans (bear toys) and then they are fairly unpredictable if they have cubs in the area too.

We got about five bear regularly through. The air horn has little affect. We spray ammonia in yard that keeps they at bay. This is larger of the bunch.

Re: The large Bear made a early visit to neighbors!

Nice pictures Eric.
Glad you are not freaked out by them being around.

We are getting reports of a couple Black Bear a couple miles North and West of here. Probably a pair of 2 year old cubs that stayed together. I take the flashlight out with me at night now if I need to go out to round up my chief security officer.

Sent from my DELL WS650 Desktop PC, by tappity tap tap'n on the keyboard. And which not even once have I dropped down the hole in the outhouse.
