Yes, it made a huge difference on the 45; well worth the investment. Originally, I thought about removing it for jobs other than digging dirt; however, it's extremely handy for leveling rock and all sorts of other things. It's tough enough to stand up to use/abuse, too; after many hours of use, it's still in good shape.

It was also the first addition I made to my Kubota BX. I agree with all the good things said about it. It also makes the bucket just a bit larger. The couple of inches are just enough to really help when hauling odd objects. When you point it down and pull backwards it acts as a rake.
