I'll also add that my FIL is a hobby farmer and career AG mechanic, along with a gun owner so we're known to go shooting from time to time. He ALWAYS has worn hearing protection (at least since his 20's, and he's mid-60's now) whenever operating any equipment, including air tools at work. Only In the last 5 or so years his hearing has declined quite a bit. They attribute that one to genetics /age.

I love overkill.
