Hi. New member as of Jun 14, 2019 I'M glad you're here. I own a troy bilt 7hp industrial horse with tiller attach.. Briggs engine. Unbelievable this machine performs as well today as it did for my dad 35 years ago.

Re: Greetings to All New Members

Howdy from Charleston SC! Iím not yet a tractor owner, not yet... I grew up learning how to drive on an old Farmall sitting on my Grandadís knee and have been hooked ever since. Iím looking for a small tractor to help with my new place ( approximately five acres). Also have just acquired an 1983 Troy-Bilt Horse tiller for a garden in the near future. Look forward to meeting yíall!

Re: Greetings to All New Members

Hi I am an 84 year old retiree trying to maintain this old farm home. I have an old Cub cadet and an old 8n we used to used to use clean out the barn each spring. It is a challenge to keep them working but when I can they still work better than most of the new stuff around! The cub still mows over 2 acres of lawn and the Ford grades my three hundred yard lane. I do what I can, and what I have to do. Other wise I have to make the problem fit one of these situations. The key is knowlege and knowing where to find it, some thing that is getting much harder than it used to be. This site looks like a good answer to this problem.

Re: Greetings to All New Members

It said "quick introduction".... I don't do quick. As far as my bio, I'm 44, raised on mid sized farm tractors, '79 John Deere mostly but a little time on a 40-something JD 742, since I could press a clutch pedal working small family farm in northwest Florida. Today I am the proud owner of a 2017 Kubota 5660 I bought last year with the intention of taking care of my own 52 acre patch but I seem to spend more time working on other people's properties instead. But that's ok, its fishing and gun money, right?

Anyway, before I get started on my entire boring autobiography, howdy! I look forward to chatting with everyone.

Re: Greetings to All New Members

Hi All,
Been viewing this forum for the past couple years as a guest and made the decision to join. I became a home owner (instead of renter) a couple years ago and realized how necessary owning a garden tractor was. Grew up on Deere's so naturally owned a 212, then a 300, and then upgraded to a 425. Also have a square fender 110 that is in the process of getting slightly restored. I use the 425 as the primary mower, dirt worker, and snow blower for our property. Watch a lot of isavetractors on youtube with my toddler son as well and he seems to enjoy every opportunity to climb on the 425 and 110 and turn knobs, steering wheel, and push buttons (with them off of course). Thank you for the welcome and looking forward to contributing to this forum.

Re: Greetings to All New Members

Hello from MN, USA. I've had a R322T mower for several years that I've been using and caring for. I've yet to find anyone knowledgeable about their maintenance. So I was really excited to find this forum. Hopefully, you guys can help me get many more years out of my machine.

Great to be here, I love the forums and all the shared knowledge.
I have a Cub GT3100 with a 44" deck. I just got it this year with 89 hours on it. It's in great shape and the power steering is amazing!
