Greetings Tractorians(?) from Ne Iowa

Howdy fellas and fellettes. Northeast Iowa here, grew up on a dairy/corp farm north of Lamont, Iowa on all JD equipment. Brother running the farm and I'm working as an electrician in one of the worlds largest cereal mfg facilities...Quaker Oats in Cedar Rapids.

As a teenager, in the mid to later 80's, mowed our yard on a brand new JD 425 that is still in service and cutting grass at least weekly out on the farm. 5 years ago, a mower I inherited (some sort of insect....cricket....lotus...praying mantis....grasshoppper!) bit the dust and I found another 425 (early 90's) nearby for sale and made the purchase. Runs great, and I'm interested in keeping it running as long as possible. That's why I'm here. So hello all.
