JD 112 leaking around brake

Hello all! New to the forum, though I've been finding helpful advice here for years, so thanks! I recently picked up a Deere 112, type t0011, serial 266461m. electric lift. changed all the fluids and cleaned it up and it runs like a champ! However, when I parked it for a week or so I noticed a pool of oil under the rear end. It seems to be leaking around where the shaft comes out to the brake band. A couple of questions: Is this something I can replace without removing the transaxle? Also, which parts are likely to be at fault? Looking over the parts diagrams, I don't see a seal or gasket, so I'm not sure where to start with replacing parts. I have tried to attach a parts diagram of the transaxle gear assembly. I'm guessing that this would be the correct diagram, but which parts would I need? Will I need to replace the brake band since it has been soaked in oil, or can I clean it up with some brake cleaner and put it back on? Thanks in advance for any advice!

also, I apologize if this post didn't wind up in the right spot. I'm not sure how to get it into the JD lawn tractors part of the forum.

Re: JD 112 leaking around brake

Have done the seal before , jack up tractor,,remove tire ,unbolt and remove band brake assembly. Loosen set screw on brake drum ,and remove ( may need puller ) pry seal out and replace ,,seal is available at your deere dealer . Use brake cleaner on the brake band ,it will be fine .
