Re: 2018 Husqvarna TS348XD #960 43 02-42?

My son, who owns a GT48DXLS, said that he can bring it up for me Friday morning since he lives only a couple of miles from the dealer and I live about 30 minutes from there. I'll send up a couple of pictures when it gets here. 🤗

FYI Look under the dash. There is likely a plastic bushing in the top plate where the steering shaft goes through the plate. Keep an eye on it for wear. I replaced mine with the metal bushing used down below that bolts to the plate. You will likely have to shim it up from the plate like I did, but now its as solid as the steering column in my car. Its a minor issue when you consider how much less work mowing will be and how much quicker you will be done, not to mention the beautiful cut you will get. The neighbors will think you hired a lawn service.

If you think you love it now, wait til youre 70. It gets nothing but better.

Thank you for this information RT3360, this will definitely help if this issue occurs.

That surprised me too. Dealer said the place he ordered it from just got in 6 of the same models. My dealer's not sure if it would be considered a 2018 or 2019 being the ones that came in were off the assembly line at the tail end of the year.

My son delivered my mower this morning. I'm not sure why some pictures display sideways even after I quarter rotate in the original source. Anyway, a good running machine.

That looks real nice. Love the seat, it looks real comfortable. How do you find the speed of it going forward and reverse?

It's the same one mine shipped with last spring. The seat is very comfortable but I can't seem to get used to the arm rests and usually fold them up out of the way.

The pictures all come out right when you open them.

Looks very much like my 2010 GTH27V52LS and yes the seat is comfortable and the arm rests too. I lean on one or the other to get the least amount of overlap. Guess its the old habit from the farm. You may find the higher back even more comfortable.

I think you will find with that deck, it will mow at full or nearly full speed forward which I think is 7-8 mph. and gives a great cut. Although with that white stuff you may find it grows a little slower. Good news though, I did see green along the south side (brick) of our church yesterday. Dont forget to check out the key positions in your owners manual, it can save a lot of time.

For the price, I think you will be very pleased with it for a long time. Maybe not run it full throttle at first until you get it broken in. The only thing I wish they would do better is to have a higher deck setting. For cutting tall grass, its a little low, but my guess is it keeps the belt wear down.

I also am not a big fan of the armrests, although when I am cross cutting the hill I do like the extra security. Also the Grab handles on the fenders are in a great spot.

On the photos: If you put the bottom of your phone (the home button) to the right when taking pics they will all show up correct on here.

Re: 2018 Husqvarna TS348XD #960 43 02-42?

I appreciate all aspects of this new mower so far, the only thing that disappoints me is the seat adjuster is located under the seat using a spin knob to loosen and tighten the adjuster, I think all the TS3 models have it this way. I'd prefer to have the seat adjuster located beside the seat.

As far as I know, the extra high seat & arm rests are standard on the ST3 models that came out in 2018 & 2019.

I'll have to try that next time. Some pictures I take with the phone & some with the tablet. I realized now, that it's with the phone I'm issues with the pictures uploading sideways.
