Service Manual for YTH24V48

Does anyone know where I can down load a Service Manual for my YTH24V48? I asked Husqvarna about it and they said that Service Manuals were available ONLY to their dealers. I have the experience and tools to do maintenance and repairs not covered by warrantee. I'm just wanting to be able to take care of it myself.

Thanks, in advance for any and all help.

It would be nice if one of the members here can gain access to the service manuals and make them available to us. I would be willing to pay a reasonable price. Even JD makes them available at a price.

That is the user manual which is available on the Husqvarna site. Thanks for looking. I am actually looking for the TS354XD
but I figured if someone can find them most should be available there.

If we can find someone in a "right to repair state" we may be able to have them obtain the manuals for us. The right to repair states require the manufacturers make available all service information and any special tools, fixtures etc that are available to their service centers.

I don't think any states have passed that type of law yet....I know that in the midwest there is a huge movement that seems aimed at John Deere...seems that all new farm equipment is extremely sophisticated and no one but John Deere has the diagnostic equipment, and access to parts and repair manuals...does anyone know if any states have passed such legislation...sounds like Apple is another opponent of this law

From what I can search it seems 8 have passed laws, and about 7 more have it in the works, each is different, some only automobiles some auto and agriculture equipment and a only maybe 1 electronics. Apple and John Deere are the two fighting it the strongest. Deere is even worse, you can get the part, put it on but it won't work until the equipment is taken to them to be added to the equipment's computer. The one farmer said it costs him, $1000 to have his combine transported to the dealer and another $1000 to get it back. This is why I would not get a Deere when time came to replace the old garden tractor.

Most Harvester issue they come out to the field to fix very rarely do Most AG dealer bring them to the shop unless they can be driven on there own power the Permits Kill everyone on the cost because of transporting the weight of a Harvester with fluids already in it.

BTW there already are some work around Hacks coming out of the Ukraine to bypass Deere's software. Which some Farmers are using regardless and Uncle Sam is actually turning a Blind eye to. The near term comprise will be a Tractor owner will be able to Buy the software at the Parts counter of which Deere will still charge Both Arms & Legs for

I would not worry about a Deere Lawn Or Garden Tractor for the time Being there are no Plans to add Deere specific software to them in the near future That software is geared right now for the 5000 series and above In the Deere tractor Line

My intention was to vote with my $$ against the way that deere is treating the farmers by not supporting them. My few thousand is not much but if everyone votes with their $$ they will notice.

A computer-ized Lawn/Garden tractor? O-M-G
Will I have to learn svedish as well if I had an Echo or Alexa on the property with my Husquvarna?
I know I'll just name it Robbie.
"Hey Alexa, warm up the mower. The front lawn needs a trim"
"Your wish is my command, oh Effendi of a thousand camel fleas. And would you like fries with that?!"

If more people had the courage of their convictions like you and acted similarly consumers would not be so deeply at the mercy of these manufacturers...these computer components and controls were integrated into the machines construction for among other reasons to make diagnosing and repairing simpler....all it has accomplished is to make it incredibly expensive...just eliminate it and make a tractor that a guy can fix without all the costly electronics and sensors and relays ...Apple is another Company that wants to dictate price and be the only source for repairs and fighting this fair repair movement vigorously

It's coming, the -900 version of the TS354 everything reports to the computer which then controls everything. If you want to check your running hours, you need a blue tooth phone and app.
