Question Yardman Something or other - Your help needed!

Hey everyone,

I picked up a Yardman ride on mower for free a few weeks back, but have no idea what model it is.

It has 12.5 ponies under the hood, 8 speed, 38" deck. Pic Below.

I hope you guys can help me out, I've only ever seen one picture online of another one exactly like this, but they had zero info.

Oh, engine codes put it around 1989.

Regards,
Luke

MTD built alot of similar machines but the closest I could find on tractordata is a 13648
TractorData.com Yard-Man 13648 tractor information

I had an MTD built Cub Cadet LTS125 that was also very similar
F-N-R and a 7 speed variable speed selector and had about 8 key clips holding the deck on.

Yeah this one has a heap of those split pin clips holding the deck on too.

Looks like your missing the engine side covers and the tunnel cover. Those tractors use a very small but expensive battery. Belts can be a PITA to change, PTO engages when you lower the deck. Its a small light duty lawn tractor, I wouldnt recommend spending alot of time and/or money on it. Should be a sticker under the seat with the model #.
