L4310 HST Speed range Shift Gear Linkage

Wondering if anyone here has experience with a problem like this? I have a 2002 Kubota L4310 HST. I was using it last week moving some dirt and gravel with the loader and switching between low and medium range here and there. All of the sudden when I went to switch back from low to medium or high as I was ready to head back to the barn, it won’t shift into anything else but low. The lever feels really sloppy, but really always has since I’ve owned it. I’ve tried looking it over really good and even took the top metal cover off next to the seat thinking I could get a better look at the linkage, but I can’t seem to determine what is wrong. I don’t know if something on the linkage has come loose or broken or if it’s internal.

Summary... The range selector is stuck in low - the shift lever moves but does not change the gear speed.

Any suggestions how to get the shifter to shift again would be greatly appreciated.

RESOLVED: Wanted to close the loop on this in case anyone else runs into this problem. I ended up having my dealer come and get the tractor for service. It was thankfully nothing serious or internal... Once the mechanic removed the wheel and exposed the linkage, he found that the range shift lever linkage was worn and had allowed the shift linkage to get in a bind and stick between medium and low range. He ended up rebuilding some of the linkage parts, some new bushings, etc. Shifts nice and smooth and good as new now.
