Help Service Manual question

I downloaded the 8N Service Manual as posted in 2007 (found in Stickie's section). It is a great help and very useful and has additional information inserted along with the Ford factory service manual text and illustrations. many thanks to the poster. One problem I have found, though, is that every page has the MTF.com logo in the bottom right and it obscures/eliminates information e.g., on page 153 it blocks information on timing curve at different rpms. Does Anyone know of a source of a clean copy? Thanks.

Re: Service Manual question

Well if I was not on horribly slow dial up I would just send you a clean pdf file. If no one else can help I may get by the local library later this week where I can use the free wifi.

Re: Service Manual question

Thanks for the offer. Please don't go out of your way since the manual as is has been of use for a couple jobs. BUT, if you do happen to have the opportunity to send off a clean copy without too much bother, it would be much appreciated. Over the years, I have been trying to bring the 8N back into better condition than when I bought it (about 35 years ago) but it comes in so handy I don't like to have it laid up too often......so haven't done a lot of the work that it deserves.

Re: Service Manual question

There is a ton of tractor / implement info at this link. Look under "Troubleshooting and Service" also "Tractors". Besure to check out the "How To" link (Banner at top of Page) more repair info there.

Re: Service Manual question

Go to the N Tractor Club and check the red bar at the top of the page, they have manual downloads.

Re: Service Manual question

Hi Kirk NJ

Nope. Been through two shop manuals (oil, grease, etc,) and have the owners manual and parts manual. Also, several books on restoring antique tractors. But this is the Service Manual that we are talking about.
