CK35..CK40..Same engine..so what gets you 5hp?

I"m a mechanic and hotrodder from way back...but I'm not a diesel guy.

From what I can see from teh specs, the CK 25, 26, 35 and 40 all have the same engine (and CK45 may as well).

SO - what makes the HP difference?

Injectors? Fuel pressure? Are they computerized to the point a new chip (like they sell for diesel trucks) is needed?

The price diff was $2500...no way there's 2500 dollars in parts differences.
