DR Power Grader - Review
To be fair to the DR, it is' impossible to crush hard pan with something that is pulled by a Garden Tractor / UTV / ATV. All adds are embellished, making there product look like the cure all, if you notice in there commercials, they are using it on sandy surfaces, it doesn't take much weight to cut in. Now for hard pan, a implement that weighs less then then power train, being used to pull it, or it couldn't pull it, such as a ATV / UTV / Garden Tractor it just won't work. You will most likely need a bulldozer with raker teeth, this time, with tons of down force, or something like a chisel plow, meant to break up hard pan. It takes tons of weight and power to break up hard pan. Once the hard pan is broke up, I would think the DR will work for maintenance, as long as it is regular maintenance. Good luck, I hope I helped, sorry, please keep us in the loop. /////// I just was able to watch your video. You will never get it to work on that surface and satisfy your expectations, if the teeth of the grader would go in a fraction your UTV couldn't pull it, it would be like being spiked to concrete. You wouldn't have enough weight or power to move it. That will take a dozer to break it up, but once it is, maintenance will be a breeze with a grader or a drag, that will be a nice road for you. On the plus side, it's not a mud bog. Good luck dude.
