Re: Snow Tonight/Tomorrow

So bizarre, none of that is coming up our way. Damp and cold continues, had to run the woodstove again last night.

Not complaining, at all, compared to other areas dealing with tornadoes and floods.

We must be protected by a mountain range to the west but its whatever the jet stream does.

Got more snow yesterday morning, which then melted, and now it's snowing again, enough to start accumulating on the ground again...

Re: Snow Tonight/Tomorrow

Who knows? Normally, it's about 10C warmer, and we get bits of rain off and on, with only one or two dumps of snow in April or May, just as a friendly reminder. Evidently we'll likely get more snow next week. It's mostly not enough to build up on sidewalks/roadways, which is good (when it did last week, we had an uptick in accidents...).

Re: Snow Tonight/Tomorrow

It actually snowed here today, MAY 12 (mixed in with the rain). My wife saw it, I thought it was flowers falling off the trees, but it was confirmed on the news tonight that it snowed at around noon today.

Ridiculous...

Re: Snow Tonight/Tomorrow

Whirly, April is bad enough, but especially after the April Fool's blizzard in to 90s, that's not as shocking anymore. Snow in May is just not right!

Don, heard about that on the local news this morning. Now they're saying that VT may get a few inches overnight, and there may be up to an inch near here.

Yeah, same thing here. I cut the grass for an hour. Ran the edger for a half hour. It was high humid out and I was sweating. I laid down in a lawn chair and fell asleep. Then, woke up when the downpour came. Went inside made a sandwich and grab a cold drink then the sun came out and dried up everything. I went back out to the lawn chair and finish my sleep.

Re: Snow Tonight/Tomorrow

Unfortunately this has been been our forecast every week for awhile. In the 16 years I have lived here I have never seen it this wet. It's not going to be a good season for farmers here. I read the other day that only about 20% of Indiana's crop are in the ground so far. I went to town a bit ago and checked the weather in my truck.
