Finally. Summer has been such a drag...

We should get a smidgeon of snow Wednesday night/Thursday.

Re: Whee! Snow in the forecast!

And it's happening. It's lightly snowing right now, not yet hard enough build up on the ground, but for exposed thin uninsulated items, such as a deck cover, a little bit of slush has begun to stay. Supposedly north and west of Edmonton are getting more snow, so farmers are boned if their crops are still on the field. It probably won't stay for long, and may even get dry enough in a couple of weeks for things to dry up enough to salvage at least some of what's there...

Wow, good to have someone in the North giving us scouting reports on it! Won't be too long now before they find their way down here!! Just thinking that I'll have to pull the cab out and clean it up and spot paint and get a new beacon on it.

Re: Whee! Snow in the forecast!

I'm sure someone around BillBoost37 and Mike is busy bolting up a snowblower to their tractor "just to be ready"... :-)

Re: Whee! Snow in the forecast!

Well, that snow melted, we got a couple nice days, and now, another 2+ inches of snow on the ground. It's building up on the ground, and just starting to build up on sidewalks/pavement. This has to totally suck for farmers around here.
