Bolens 1250 (no engine)

I have a chance to get a Bolens 1250 with no engine. I don't want to short change the neighbor lady who's a widow. What would be a fair price?

What kind of condition is the rest of the tractor in? With out pictures it will be really hard to give any idea of what a fair price would be. Your best bet would be to start at scrap price.

Wish I could provide a picture, Farmerall. Issues with that at the present. I last saw it this past summer. It looked fairly decent and was told the transaxle is good.

Re: Bolens 1250 (no engine)

Looked at it today. Seat, of coarse, is in bad shape. No biggy there. Dash is in two pieces. Has True Powers on the back and appear to have air. PTO and idler pulley spin freely. Mower deck attached at the front with arms but suspended with a ratchet strap at the back. It's red with a hose connection on the top. It does have the d'shaft, though. Cruddy, but useable. No rust disease. Would 150 be fair? Too much? Too little?

Re: Bolens 1250 (no engine) Update...

I offered my Friend's widow 150. She accepted. Then -promptly said she'd have taken a hundred and said I can have it for that. We're both happy.
