What is this part

I think this is for a 2 wheel tractor but I am not sure. A friend is buying a house and it looks like it is being left behind. He was going to scrap it but I stopped him. What might it be worth?

Re: What is this part

That is a quick hitch adapter and it's worth a few bucks. How much I don't know, a lot seems to be based on geographic area.
It is missing the block and horn that bolts to the top, unless you just didn't take a picture of it.

It's worth from $50 to $100 depending on how bad/quick somebody wants/needs it.

Even the four bolts are worth 30 - 50 dollars.

Re: What is this part

For those who PM'd me about this, sorry for the delay. The house my friend bought was an estate sale and there were several relatives involved so it took some time. The deal went through and the quick hitch was left behind.

I did find out that the elderly gentleman that used to own the house was quite the gardener and had large following for the produce he grew in his back yard (5 acre lot with a good sized garden). He was still at it into his late 80's at least, although in the last years he had to have a neighbor help him turn the Gravely around. I should be so lucky!
