Nice 818T

Did you guys see the 818T for sale in NH on CL? Really a nice looking tractor. The guy is not giving it away but if someone wanted a complete turn-key package...it is pretty nice. Would love to find the time to make mine look like that one day.

That is nice looking and a nice package. I wonder what "professional restoration" means?

Yes, it has brakes and for 5k, it better have an axle block and lift hitch.

For 5k it should have a freshly rebuilt engine, new PTO clutch, new direction clutches (not just a reline) new steering parts, and more.

Re: Nice 818T

Without talking to the guy you just don't know what has been done. Very difficult to find a package in that shape though if you were willing to spend the money. Notice the regular brake though? Pedal is almost on the floorboard...probably needs a lining.

While that is certainly true Richard, Many of us with G.A.S. will also attest "All that's gold does not glitter".

Re: Nice 818T

I would imagine that it comes with a complete rear PTO kit as the ad says that it also includes a new, in the crate rear tiller.

Honestly, for all that is listed there and the apparent condition of the machine, that price isn't so far fetched. Would I pay it? Lord no, but if you stop and add up the attachments and put a decent value on the tractor, it really doesn't look that bad.

Looking at the location of the tractor, restoration quality, and NOS attachments, it looks like it could be the work of Marc (forgot his last name) who used to be on this forum.

Yup, him! I have no idea why someone would put that stupid Gravely decal on the seat pan. That totally ruins all the work that has been done to it.
