Need to find/buy parts for a scatback 430 loader

Hello all, my name is Anthony. I picked up a CASE/Davis Manuf. Scatback 430 mini front loader. I have been trying to obtain a supplier or an online site where I can buy parts for it. I have been having problems finding either. I wouldn't mind finding a salvage yard either is that's how I have to obtain parts. I'm located on Long Island. I am looking for a good amount of parts too, so that doesn't help. I'm becoming optimistic that I'll find them or even most of them at this point. I have a parts catalog for the machine with part numbers, but I am not getting any hits anywhere when I use these numbers. I am assuming these numbers have been discontinued if they are even still available and other numbers have been put in their place through another manufacture or distributor and that's why I'm not having any hits. I sent the below list to a gentlemen yesterday in Buffalo who said he may be able to help. Keep in mind these numbers aren't part numbers they are the item number that are being referenced from the parts catalog I have. If I can, I'll upload the parts catalog as well.

Page 5- Items, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12, 13, & 14
Page 7B- Items, 14, 18, 23, 24, 25, 26, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, C-D for item 32, & 34- Why all the different size thrust washers? do I need all three or do I only need one size x2EA for this particular machine ?
Page 11- Items, 12, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 41, 56, 59, 60, & 61
Page 11B- Items, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, & 40
Page 17- Item, 14
Page 19- Items, 10, 11, 12, & 35: Note: See page 25 items. If I can get the parts listed on this page then I can rebuild the current steering valve that works. Its just the male and female splines that are damaged on the steering wheel and valve stem.
Page 23- Item, 40
Page 25- Items, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, & 30. Item 20, what is this part? Is this the female end of the spline socket for item 10 to fit into? It looks like that too me, if that is the case, then I need one of those because that is whats actually damaged on mine.
Page 35- Items, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11, 13 & 23
Page 11 from operators manual- See attached document. I am also looking for the entire oil-bath type cleaner assembly off of the intake manifold. I need the filter cannister, the filter element, & oil cup. On the other side of the intake manifold, there is also a plastic black cap, it almost looks like a grease tube cap. See attached pictures. What should be here in its place. If I remove the plastic cap you see into the manifold.

It looks like your in the same boat as I am, I have a old Davis trencher that there is no longer parts available. Hyd hoses you can have made or buy at alot of places, the orbital valve should have a tag on it with a name and part no. Hyd shops that sell them should be able to get the parts.

The air filter i'd just change it over to a regular newer style filter. I's hard to see alot of the things you need because I can't get the pictures big enough to read.

I hadn't seen the term "Scatback 430" in a lot of years so I had to sign on for a look.

Back in the mid '80s I bought a used Scatback 430 and sweeper attachment with the intention of starting a small business of my own. Word got back to work that I might leave and it got me a promotion instead.

Subsequently, just used the machine as a loader around the property and eventually sold it to a snowplow company to load sand into their trucks.

The Dealer carried parts for it back then and new cab windows were cut by a local glass company. Can't remember the exact year, but we sprayed it in the original earlier Case Orange color ourselves.

That is a long, probably pricey, list of parts. Are you simply returning the loader to service, or doing a full restoration on it?

Good evening Larry. This is the first time I came across this type of machine myself. It’s definitely a unique machine and is perfect for what I need it for on my property. The gentlemen who owned it before me had it for 32 yrs. It seems the last 10 or so years the machine got away from him and now needs some TLC. I’m also the type of person that likes to do things with OEM parts when possible for any project I’m working on. I also figured this list could also get me in the dog house with my wife If they are all available lol. But I am looking all over and trying to find whatever I can to bring her back to life. I’m in the process now of stripping it all down, cleaning all the years of oils and grim off of it, and removing all the broken pieces. I’m going to blast all all the paint off and repaint as well, put new tires, and hopefully replace as much as I can with new or used better parts. Thanks for the post. Maybe once I’m all completed with it, I’ll post some progress and final pics.
