Help Wheel horse 603, will it hold up?

Hey fellas, as always I'm day dreaming again. This one is about m Wheel Horse 603 that has the wrong engine and no hood. I got to wondering about what the little tractor would hold up to. I know it was supposed to have a 6 HP tecumseh engine but that's long gone. I have 15 HP Kohler 2 cylinder opposed sitting in the shed and thought o putting that on the little guy but I don't want to destroy the transaxle. The frame seems to be heavy enough to handle it but my question is would the original transaxle hold up to such an increase in horsepower and torque? Any advice is welcome. Thanks!

What can you do with a hopeless addiction on a limited budget in a small area? Get a bunch of garden tractors and hope the city doesn't find out.
Brands I have:Cub Cadet, John Deere, Allis Chalmers, Minneapolis Moline, Case, Ford, Simplicity, Massey Ferguson, Wheel Horse, Panzer, Montgomery Wards, David Bradley, Sears, Bolens, Craftsman, MTD, Snapper, Roof, Springfield, Green Midget, Gemini, Lawnboy, Ariens, Coast to Coast and Big Mow.
