case 448 slow lift

hi i got a case 448 and the lift cynlinder is slow need help

I would take the lift cylinder out ckeck the O- rings and seals. Before you remove the cylinder check for leaks

Is it slow up and down? If not, adjust the linkage for proper movement both ways. If it is, there must be an obstruction. That is assuming travel speed is normal which indicates the pump is working ok.

If it moves quicker with no weight on the arms, the relief valve either needs adjustment or the spring is broken.
