Thanks, got it Done, Seems to Idle better. I decided to go this Route because I have Had Terrible Luck with Condenser's. Went ahead and eliminated the Ballast Resistor and upgraded to 3 OHM internally Ballast Coil why I was @ it.
I've completed the modification on an old Willys Jeep CJ2A and on my Ford 5000. The only issue I had was that driving the sensor over the distributor post in both cases took a bit more of a push than you would expect. In both cases I used a large socket to apply an even pressure and hit it with a dead blow hammer to drive the piece home.
