Re: R.I.P. - Ensign Parker (Tim Conway)

I feel a great loss. He made me laugh so hard sometimes I couldn't breathe. The Siamese elephant bit from the Carol Burnett show is the funniest 5 minutes of TV ever. Better still when you know the back story that it was all spontaneous by Conway when the cast was told to get out quick because they were out of time.

That clip breaks me up every time I watch it!! His timing was impeccable, but Vicky's was even better with her one little line.

Sad to see such great comedic talent pass on. That's two in as many days.

RIP, Tim and Doris.

Re: R.I.P. - Ensign Parker (Tim Conway)

Very funny man. As ggsteve so aptly said: " He made me laugh so hard sometimes I couldn't breathe."
Sometimes I wished he would stop talking or acting for a second just so I could catch my breath.

So sad he is gone. Career spanned a lot of years. Different memories for different generations.

RIP Mr. Conway

Sent from my DELL WS650 Desktop PC, by tappity tap tap'n on the keyboard. And which not even once have I dropped down the hole in the outhouse.

Always played a character that could have been in the background but always seemed to steal the spotlight from those around him while making them all laugh!
