Re: Cub Cadet XT series

Happy Thanksgiving back to you, also-Hunter.

Used my XT2 to get up leaves for four hours Monday. Got about 120 hours on the clock now--she's doing good. Need to put the newly sharpened blades on and blow out the air cleaned before we use it again. Haven't had any more problems out of the steering popping and cracking--so that mystifies me.....
oh-well....

I just blow mine off after each use--and once a while--clean that area good with Brakleen--and then apply a small amount of white lube grease to the little steering gear.--just a smidgin...

Re: Cub Cadet XT series

Spring is around the corner and time to be thinking of buying the lawn fertilizers and stuff, where do you get yours from? I get the 34-0-0 from Stockdales our co-op and some from Do your own Pest Control.

I use Milorganite $12 for 36# bag. It has been the best fertilizer I've ever used. Been using it for 2 years now on the yard, garden, fruit trees. It made my back yard grass fill in when no other fertilizer was doing anything for it. Makes all your plants grow like crazy.

I use that too. What's great about it is using too much won't kill the grass or shrubs because its a slow release.

It's 43 degrees here. Just pulled 2 crawling deer ticks off the dog's neck. I can't even believe it.
