It's a GT 245. It's unbelievable how well it runs, how smooth it is. The power as well. Even when I mow, which I don't use it for that because we use the zero turn, it does very well. The grass flows out from the deck like a perfect ocean wave. Being 15 years old I can't believe it. And only having 186 hours when I got it and being in the same family the whole 15 years. And it came from a JD dealer. I was first on the list with people waiting in line to see it after me when I was at the store.
Glad to hear you're liking it.

Don't know how you manage that. Skeeters are liable to carry you away.

Hey there, rudedawg! You gonna have any problems with that Cat 1 hurricane barreling towards you?

ChuckT: That is something I've remarked to meself several times this year already and that is the almost complete absence of skeeters. Got bit ONCE in January and haven't any since. The gnats have been out in force. Painted a plywood sheet yesterday and there must have been a 100 of them stuck to the sheet to be embalmed for the second coat. Maybe with this rain we've been getting from Barry will bring out the skeeters?

Flaken the good news is we are not in the direct path of the impact zone; the bad news is we're on the east side of it so the NWS predicts we'll realize the brunt of some really heavy rain. Not to mention the elevated risk of tornado's being spawned from it.
I have just finished mowing what was started yesterday evening because it will take some time to dry out from all the rain predicted.

ChuckT our city has been spraying frequently and what ever they're using seems to be keeping them at bay, although everyone here are now glowing in the dark. lol...
Maybe Barry will suck them all up and transplant them to Iowa...lol.

oldfart50 those look nice but my tractor is < 2 mos. old and if I start cutting/splicing in different lamp sockets required for those bulbs the wty. may be compromised.
I'm thinking of maybe adding a small led light bar under the frt. bumper which can be easily removed if needed.

Well, good luck to you, rudedawg. I'll likely take years to recover from Michael, that lovely Cat 5 in October of last year.

My XT3 doesnt have an 1156 socket. I bought a couple of 1156 sockets and put them in place of the LED headlights but the bulbs I bought were not an improvement. Mudyapster reported his LED bulbs weren't great as well and added a light bar. Here's the sockets I ordered.

Thanks Steve; yeah I forgot about the "plug-n-play" sockets which would be a direct replacement; duh on me.
I remembered saving yours and mudyapster's posts on bulbs a while back https://www.mytractorforum.com/19-cu...3gsx-help.html after I had posted and that's why considering the light bar.
