Who has driven a Honda Tractor, specifically H5518 or H5013/RT5000?
I'm in the market for a Honda tractor. Specifically a H5518. I just missed out on a nice RT5000...but after some researching I think I'm going to keep my eye out for the H5518.
One thing I'm looking to find out from people who have actually driven these is...is it possible to shift gears while driving? I found a honda owners manual online and it appears that this is NOT possible...you're supposed to stop, shift, then drive again.
This seems very cumbersome, say your mowing the grass in a high gear, the grass gets taller so you have then stop, shift down and then you can drive slow. After the tall area, you'd have to stop again, shift, and then continue in higher gear.
Secondly...looking for advice on those who have driven both the H5013/RT5000 AND the H5518.
I noticed something interesting...only the H5518 has an accelerator pedal. The H5013/RT5000 do not appear to have one. Is this actually the case? If so, why would Honda do this? Is there any logical reason???
Thank you and awesome forum!!!
