Petey

Lost our grandcat, Petey, yesterday. Here is the eulogy written by our daughter-in-law.

[QUOTE]Peter "Petey" Lee was born on 08/10/02 in Iowa. In November of that year, he chomped his soon-to-be best friend & boon companion, Neil, at Brenneman's Feed Store. They were a team from then on. A curious & precocious kitten, Petey reveled in being a stinker, a trait which continued throughout his life. In 2003, Petey met the rest of his family, Elizabeth and Handsome Jack. Many happy years followed, filled with lemon yogurt, walks outside, catnip bananas, hunting, laser pointers, toy mice & poofs, nuzzes, and tuna. Petey had many nicknames: Tiger, King of the Castle, Mr. Buddy, Mighty Hunter, Mr. Mouse, Mr. Brown Toe, & Grandma's Favorite, among others. He left this earth on December 17, 2015. He was loved by all who knew him. May heaven be filled with dirt for him to roll in[\QUOTE]

Here he is, rolling in his favorite spot under the tree, last summer.

Re: Petey

Very sorry to hear about Petey, Brad. Find comfort in knowing how much he was loved and the wonderful life your family helped him to have. Condolences, my friend.

Folks say I'm lazy, drunk and stupid. Well, I got news for them......they're only 2/3 right.

They say you catch more flies with honey than vinegar, but I've always had my best success with a dead squirrel

Want to see what happens when you join parts from about 6 GT's, farm tractors, walkbehinds, ship parts, push mowers, trailers, scrap air compressors, CNC lathes, junk refrigerators, tread mills and more? If so, check out me and Mike's most excellent Gravely Custom Build and Adventure Thread

Re: Petey

Thank you all. Petey was a wonderful friend, and like all good cats, the best cat a dad could ever want.
