Bolens g152, k3a diesel parting out.

Hello all. I have this bolens g152 with mitsubishi k3a i picked up as a project. Went ok until i got to the engine and found it wrecked. It was ran hot and the cylinder walls are gouged out. It was then parked for appox 8 years according to the lady i got it from. It was powering a 4í bushhog.

Ive never seen this thing run. I assume things worked the way they should until the engine died. Its complete other than no mower deck, no wiring harness, i tossed it as it wasnt usable.

If anyone has any parts they want, let me know and iíll see what i have.

Also i had been buying lots of new parts for it before finding the engine damage. New rad hoses, thermostat, waterpump, new front tires on sandblasted/painted rims, new alternator that isnt original but looked like an easy fit, bunch of stuff. Its all for sale, cheap, as i would like to see this stuff used and i dont feel like dealing with ebay.

Located in deland fl, 32724 if your close enough, other wise iíll ship. Thanks

What kind of tires on the rear? Does it have a 3 point hitch?

It does have a 3 point. The rear tires are junk, old half bald truck tires.

I did buy a new tachometer cable for it so i do have that, its new too. If i remember right its the same as the stock one, just longer.

Iíll try to grab some pictures soon.

Just had a thought. How about a hydraulic pump complete with mounting brackets? I'm going to have to convert my hydrostatic to gear driven for a while, but doing that means I will lose all my hydraulics. Yours should, I am told, have a separate pump mounted on the engine somewhere. I'd also be interested in some photos of the set-up.

Re: Bolens g152, k3a diesel parting out.

I do have the hydraulic pump and should have th bracket too. When i pulled it and was planning on fixing this rig, i tested per some advice here and it seemed good. If i heard right, the pump should turn by hand with fair resistance, or something like that, not too tight and not loose. It seemed to hit the mark per the info i read.

Iíll grab some pics sooon.

Now that some other stuff is out of the way and the hurricane is gone, im getting back to this a bit. Here is the hydraulic pump. I should have any brackets or hardware that it used. I have the hardlines too but when i was trying to fix this thing, i recall noting that a hardline was damaged. May still be usable.

Also the new tach cable i bought

What kind of money would you be looking to get for it all, including the pipe that needs repairs?
