Whatís this worth: Homelite CT-10

I have a 1972 Homelite CT-10 that I believe was built by Simplicity at that time.

Last time I had it running was a couple years ago. Probably would not be hard to get running again.

Want to know what itís worth to the right individual. Hoping someone would want to restore it. Iíd like to. But just not enough time. And I donít want it to just sit around and get in worse shape.

Worth will depend some on where you are, and how common they are there. I've seen a couple on CL here in Maine in the last year, and they weren't asking very much at all.

My "honey-do list" is so long it has chapters.

It's worth what someone is willing to pay...if someone wants it as a collector's item...or to actually cut his lawn...if I were selling it I would try to hold out for $500...but probably only get $300-$350...people around here (Long Island )really try the lowball tactic

if you get it running and driving it should increase the value by 50%. Here in the DC area, it's hard to get good money for anything. Almost have to give it away

Re: Whatís this worth: Homelite CT-10

Iím in West Virginia. My dad bought it brand new and has since given it to me. He worked for Homelite back in the 70ís.

I also have a rear rototiller with it. And a front plow. But a couple of the connectors are missing. I have used the rototiller before. Back in the day. Last it was used was probably 12 years ago. It worked great then. Been sitting in shed since then.

My first thought was to attempt a trade deal. Iíve been looking for a Dual Sport motorcycle. Honda or Kawasaki preferred. Doesnít have to be in perfect shape but Iíd like it to at least run and have a good title. Maybe I could trade even for it with the tractor and all the stuff I have with it.

Iíve seen some older dual sports in the $600-$800 range. Might be doable.
