I got the 1964 1819 snow boy out for today's 4" snowfall. It's not a whole lot easier to use than a shovel except that you get such a rush from the roar of that 4,000 RPM engine and the intoxicating scent of the 16:1 fuel mix! You can't get nothin' like that till the grass turns green next spring! Here's a pix from last January. I don't remember working upside down, but then you can only do that with a 2 cycle engine!!
Harry! That looks like a hoot! I have not gone through mine as of yet. Been busy with other stuff but I want to clean the tank and carb and make sure it runs well. It did start and run for a short time however and has great compression. I did get to use the Toro Powerlite today on three properties in the neighborhood. Love the Powerlite!
Maybe someone with the powers that be can fix your picture. I do know that if you click on the picture to enlarge and then click again to zoom it appears right side up. Bill
Harry, Looks like fun. We got snow also, but less then an inch. Was in your area this week and thought about visiting you but ran out of time. Maybe the next trip. I didn't get enough snow last year to use my Snow-Boy and it would not make me mad if that was the case again this year. Don't like the Cold weather that comes with snow. Too bad we can't have snow when the temperature is is the 50's.
Good to hear from you! I think everyone would rather cut grass than run a snowblower! I mowed and mulched leaves 5 days before this last on!! Let me know the next time you are heading this way and I'll send you a request.
